Due to a delay in receiving the 2026 Tax Rate Certification, the mailing of the 2026 Final / 2027 Preliminary Tax Bills has been postponed until the end of July.
To accommodate this delay, the Grace Period for payment has been extended through Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Please note that any payment received after August 25, 2026, will be subject to interest charges retroactive to the
Due Date of August 1, 2026, in accordance with New Jersey State law.

Tax Payment Due Dates and Interest
Taxes are due and payable on the 1st day of February, May, August, and November. East Greenwich Township allows a ten-day grace period, if payment is made after the grace period, interest starts to accrue back to the 1st day of the due date month. Postmarks are not accepted.
Interest on late payments is calculated at a rate of 8% and 18%. The first $1500 of delinquency is at 8% interest and all amounts over are calculated at 18%. There is a 6% year-end penalty if delinquent taxes are over $10,000 as of December 31st of the current year.
