What We Do
The East Greenwich Public Water & Sewer Department is responsible for delivering quality water to homes within the water service areas of the town. The sewer department provides public sewer service to homes within the sanitary sewer service areas of the town. Some homes in East Greenwich have well or septic systems which are privately owned, inspected and maintained by the home owner.

Paying Your Bill
Bills are mailed quarterly or can be viewed online at the address below. They are payable by cash or check in person or by credit / debit cards for a nominal charge online through a third-party company.

MAINTENANCE OF: 3 Municipal wells, 2 1 million gallon storage tanks, 58 miles of water main, 3400 water service lines/curb stops, 375 fire hydrants, Insure that all New Jersey DEP regulations and testing is preformed, Produce annual quality water drinking reports, Quarterly meter reading of over 3400 water customers, Supply and maintain water meters for 3400 water customers, Respond to any customer water concerns, Review new development construction & coordinate new water/sewer connections., Maintain 10 sewer lift/ pumping stations, Monitor 36 miles of sewer main, 1380 sewer laterals/cleanouts, 350 manholes, Respond to any resident concerns or sewer backups
